Dropbox This online service offers registered users 2G of free online storage. (You can pay for more storage if needed.)The service has a few benefits. Dropbox installs a folder on your computer and whatever you save in that folder is automatically saved and copied to an identical folder online. So, if your computer ever crashes, you can still access your documents via another computer using your online Dropbox account. Dropbox also allows you to work on a project using multiple computers linked to your Dropbox account. For example, if you have a PC at work and a laptop for home use, you can have a Dropbox folder on both. No matter which of these computers you then use, Dropbox will automatically update your document file from the online folder, meaning you can work with the current copy of the text. |
