"F" is for "friend" The Baptist Churches of New Zealand facebook page began as a way to give and receive quick updates from Christchurch following February's earthquake. The updates are less frequent now, but the page is still there.

Why are we on facebook, when we have a perfectly good website? Because facebook is an instant way to communicate with those of you who join our network and – best of all – it's not a one-way conversation. The page is a great forum for those who have shared comments, pictures, videos and links from around the country. You're not just communicating with us; you're communicating with each other.
