BMF Day – Nov. 15

The Annual BMF Day will be held on November 15 from 10am to 3.30pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church, corner of Clyde Street and Knighton Road in Hamilton. Everyone is welcome to come, pray, and be inspired by updates and reports on future initiatives from our tranzsend overseas workers and home staff. There will also be reflections from participants of the recent GLIMPSe 2012 trip. Registration is $12 per person. This covers lunch, morning and afternoon tea. Amazing Grace

I thought I had it all figured out. Saying grace before meals is one of those age-old traditions we do as followers of Jesus. It’s just to show we’re thankful, saying it out loud doesn’t matter.

Identifying potential mission workers

In the July edition of World Reach we saw that one aspect of the agenda of a church’s overseas mission team needed to be moral support of all those currently or potentially involved in overseas mission. 

This is the bit that starts and ends with encouragement. The way that encouragement is given depends on how far along their mission journey a person is.

DW:The Call

DW:The Call is a biennial conference is designed to help those of all ages investigate the call to God’s mission locally and globally. It’s hosted by a collective of organisations connected through Destination World and Missions Interlink NZ.
