Duly noted

My observations [from the February NZ Baptist] are as follows:

Page 4. Rachel Murray. Perhaps we have to have patience to wait for the apparent “no answer.” There is never a no answer! He has His timing, even if we have a deadline to meet.

Page 5. Expletives by Michael Duncan. I feel that a half truth is a lie. So, there can be no half way in choosing acceptable exclamations of horror, disbelief, joy etc. How about  “ouch ,wow, help, horrors, great, ghastly, hooray, hallelujah, etc.” – all perfectly, decently acceptable. So many ordinary folk do not know what their oft-used swear words mean. A striking example of this is b* g*e*, the most horrific of all.

Page 19. Creation Products. Lisa Phillips. “Tee shirts banded with slogans … such as “ I will roundhouse kick you in the face.” Ouch! Where did this come from? At Parachute? Can you explain, please, Lisa?
Thanks for thought-provoking articles.
