Craig Vernall became the Baptist National leader in November 2011. He has also been the Senior Pastor at Bethlehem Baptist in Tauranga, the area in which he grew up, since 1995.
Craig became a Christian at the age of 22 and attended Carey Baptist College in 1992-1994. He is excited about the role of national leadership and wants to help the Baptist churches engage with the mission challenges of the 21st Century.
Craig is married to Michaela and they have three children. When he isn't splitting his time between Bethlehem, Auckland and beyond, Craig can be found with a pack on his back appreciating the wilds and wonders of Godzone.
