Community Organisation Study Award
The Bay of Plenty Community Organisation Study Awards are scholarships for adult learners (18+ yrs) who are currently working in a not-for-profit organisation either full or part-time. There are four awards of $500 each. It is open to NZ citizens and permanent residents who are enrolling in a Bay of Plenty Polytechnic full-time programme. Applications close 21 January 2013. Vodafone World of Difference applications
Through its World of Difference Programme, the Vodafone NZ Foundation supports young people financially and professionally while they work for a New Zealand youth charity for one year. The aim is to grow the leadership and capacity of individuals as well as strengthen the charity’s ability to work in the community. This year 10 places will be offered. Prime Minister’s Pacific Youth Awards
Applications for the 2012 Prime Minister’s Pacific Youth Awards close on 27 August 2012. There are five different awards, with opportunities for: a paid internship at Weta Workshop, $6000 tuition fees at the University of Auckland, an educational trip overseas valued at $5000, entry into Air New Zealand Aviation Institute’s pre-employment aircraft maintenance programme, or a grant of $5000 for technology or related study.
