Two Baptist organisations were successful recently in gaining Government grants for their social housing projects. Congratulations to the following:

• VisionWest Community Trust (Glen Eden Baptist Church) has been granted $1.2 million from the Government’s Social Housing Unit’s Niche Fund. The funding will be used to purchase land and build six houses for low-income, vulnerable families.
• Community of Refuge Trust (Ponsonby Baptist Church) has been granted $3.89 million from the SHU’s Growth Fund to build clusters of 31 one- and two-bedroom units.
