Toxic Emotions At Work
The author does not claim to be Christian but much of his thinking reflects core Christian values. His thesis is that when any group of people works together there will inevitably be toxic emotions generated, even where the best leadership and management practices are in place. He deals with the steps that individuals within the organisation [toxin eaters], and the organisation itself, can take to defuse such toxicity. Toxic emotions can be produced by staff, leaders/managers and by the culture and objectives of the organisation.

Lead Like Jesus
The authors, Ken Blanchard and Phil Hodges, are Christians and successful in their fields. Blanchard wrote the very successful ‘secular’ book The One Minute Manager.
Their approach is that we need to become servant leaders, as Jesus was. They have chapters considering the Heart, Head, Hands and Habits of a servant leader. An interesting sidelight is that they are stressing godly stewardship of faculties and abilities.
