LEADERSHIP NETWORK

The Leadership Network are adding a new person to their team. Over the last couple of years we have put some energy into helping pastors with leadership related issues. In trying to help in this area it becomes very apparent that many eldership groups struggle to some extent with their role of spiritual oversight and governance. So David Allen is joining the team. He is based in Auckland and has many years of experience in the areas of the governance of non-profit organisations, and among other roles has been part of the international leadership team of Interserve. He is currently the chair of elders at Mount Albert and leader of their global mission programme. He is available for input to elders’ retreats and the like, and is particularly interested in being available to develop mentoring relationships with churches in the Auckland area who would like help with the role of their eldership. He is also available to give input to elders groups in other parts of the country, and the costs of this can be covered by the Leadership Network.
