With the Salisbury family’s departure for Australia in early March, there were farewells and lots of fun in a “Supper” concert evening. The Salisbury family sang “Stand up, stand up for Jesus” and a song of their own composition, “Thank you church for all you are.” There were testimonies from church leaders and visiting pastors about their ministry here over 13 years. The present manse is to be sold. A pastoral search committee has been appointed. Aaron and Wendy have seen God significantly at work transforming the church into a vibrant intergenerational community of faith.

Sammi McMillan has begun to fulfil a dream with studying for a Diploma of Ministry at Hillsong International College, Sydney. It was a real pleasure to welcome National President Bruce Patrick to speak on February 12. In Fusion Kids (SS) the teaching has focused on determination – following through 100% – beginning with worship. Chris Brunt has been awarded the National Commissioner’s Award from Girls’ Brigade. An intercessors’ day of prayer and fasting was held March 24, and the preaching over several weeks follows “7 keys to Open-Handed Living in a Tight-Fisted World.”
