It is our great pleasure to announce that Royce Dewe has taken on the role as our ECE advisor.

Royce has been involved in early childhood education for 25 years. Her experience ranges from running and coordinating playgroups to management of Baptist ECE centres and parenting initiatives such as SKIP, Parent Support & Development pilot project, HIPPY and SPACE. She was Coordinator of CECEAA [Christian Early Childhood Education Association of Aotearoa] for seven years, and was one of the working party that established the NZ Strategic Plan for ECE.

She is passionate about opportunities that can make a difference in providing the very best outcomes for children and families in the early years.

One of Royce’s first duties was creating suggested salary scales for EC workers. A list of these is now available from our website. (Community Ministries/Our Downloads).
