Other things.
On my home front life has been going well. Michaela and I had a good break over January which was rounded out with a cross cultural experience at Parachute. It’s good for me to be there and try and keep in touch with what God is doing amongst our youth and within the music industry. I was very surprised to see that the Parachute Band released a CD called “Matins: Vespers” which is music created for quiet meditation. Wonders never cease! At my home church of Bethlehem we had a celebration weekend to officially open the building extensions that we completed last year. We’re all getting used to new spaces and equipment which is fun and challenging. Six weeks ago Michaela and I became empty nesters. This is a very surreal experience. With our son now out of our fridge the food
bill has halved and my tool shed is consistently tidy. So now it’s Michaela and me and the dog. Michaela tells me the dog is cuter and more affectionate but I’m better house trained.
My prayer is that you’ll engage deeply with the Easter story again this year and that the Holy Spirit will give you fresh revelation to retell this central story of our faith. Please have your prayer ministry teams praying for the number of Easter Camps that will serve God to change lives over the long weekend.
