This community group publishes a number of resources for the NFP sector. These are available for purchase via their website.

Their 2012 Auckland Funding Directory is now available. The directory lists funders from the Auckland region, plus an A-Z list of around 100 other regional or national funders. It also contains some advice about making applications. The directory is $32.50.

EDEN (Eating Difficulties Education Network)
EDEN has resources useful for groups or individuals who are working with someone who has an eating difficulty or who is struggling with their body image.

One of their resources is the Nourish training workshop, which is offered to those who work with young people. Nourish helps young people to:

• Understand & deal with thoughts & feelings about physical appearance.
• Examine influences on body Image with a particular focus on the media.
• Practice listening to & appreciating their bodies.
• Learn about body trust & the dangers of dieting.
• Celebrate diversity in themselves & others.
• Identify ways to create “body-safe” environments.

The next Nourish workshop will be held in Auckland on Tuesday 28 February 2012. The training costs $160 for community groups. More details are available from their website.
