Creed of Compassion
This 28-page A5-size professionally-printed booklet was written by Mike Riddell (former pastor and founder of the Community of Refuge Trust), and published by the Baptist Union in 1995. Time has not diminished its relevance. It gives an easy-to-understand explanation of the theological justification for social ministry. It would make a great resource for small group study, for inclusion in a volunteer’s or board member’s induction pack, or for personal reflection.
