A three day per week position for a period of one year (with possible extension) to work with Baptist churches in planting church congregations, replanting struggling churches in planting church congregations, replanting struggling churches, and equipping pastors and church leadership teams.

• Able to strategise and implement a vision
• Knowledge of and active participation in Baptist church life
• Effective presentation and written skills
• Experienced in networking
• Sound knowledge of NZ Baptist ethos
• Able to relate well to people of different theologies and personalities
• Effective time management and organization

• Development of a strategic plan for Auckland region
• Strategise the requirements for church plants during this decade, including clear procedures for assessment and training of planters
• Lead in the planting of additional congregations and replanting of struggling churches
• Development of financial support programme for planting initiatives
• Recruitment of prayer partners
• Establish guidance and accountability systems
• Help equip pastors and church leadership teams
