TABERNACLE TRUST BOARD GRANTS

The Tabernacle Trust Board has advised that there will be two categories of grants made in 2012:

1.  Small project grants. For 2012 these will be for capital items only, and the following will not be funded: data projectors etc; Resource Consents; architect’s fees/drawings. The small grant fund will total approximately $80,000. Specific criteria will be available on the Trust website www.tabernacletrust.org.nz during February 2012. Applications are to be made online via the website. The applications function on the website will open on Wednesday 1 February and close at midnight on Sunday 4 March 2012. Please note that applicants must pre-register via this website prior to being granted access to the application process. Churches which have registered in previous years will not need to complete this process again provided they have kept their login information.

2.  Larger project grants.  Assistance towards dealing with the impact on churches of the Christchurch earthquakes. Please do not send applications for this category as the Trust is arranging this directly with the Baptist Union.

Note that applications will not be accepted from any church or organisation which has not completed and returned the ‘Form of Completion’ for any grant which they have received in previous years or in cases where the conditions of previous grants were not adhered to.
