This online resource gives voluntary organisations, groups, trusts and societies simple, accurate information about their legal obligations. The resource includes checklists, action plans, and information about requirements and responsibilities divided into 18 topics. Fact sheets are updated and can be printed from the site.

Need to raise funds for a capital campaign? Just enter the total amount you need to raise in this online calculator and it will automatically estimate (based on industry standards) the number and size of the individual gifts required to achieve your target. It will also tell you the likely number of ‘prospects’ you will have to approach to get those gifts. There are several of these calculators around. This one adds in a margin for unexpected expenses/cost over-runs. For example, if you need to raise $100,000, it will give you the number of gifts required to raise $128,000.
