Changing of the guard

pauldNew Zealand Baptists Reaching the World has a new Communication and Media Specialist. Paul Dunn is quickly coming to grips with his new role and we welcome his fresh input into an area that is constantly evolving.

Paul has been in pastoral ministry. He served as youth pastor for two years and then five years as senior pastor of Katikati Baptist Church in the Bay of Plenty.

While studying theology at Carey Baptist College he also studied at Massey in the area of media studies. We look forward to the combination of these skills and experience as he settles into his role.

Paul is married to Kate and they have three children: Caleb (10), Bethany (6) and Isaac (3). Please add Paul and family to your prayer list.

At this time we want to mention the wonderful work of Bev Edmiston. For more than 10 years, Bev was the New Zealand Baptists Reaching the World communications person. It was Bev who defined and developed the role and many of the tasks within it. This included being editor of World Reach and the key coordinator of the annual Prayer and Self Denial focus.

We appreciate hugely the contribution Bev made. We miss her and wish her well for the future.
