During August the church looked at tranzsend’s Enable the Harvest series, with lots of spiritual (and bean!) growth. Our church oversight had an overnight retreat to look at where God wants the church to go. Several ministry leaders joined the group for the last few hours to discuss the ministries in the church and how successful ministries look. Hospitality Sunday saw three families open their homes for shared lunches, with great fellowship. Our six-weekly Nail Care Clinic ministered to 74 people. ICONZ won several shields at a local competition – Best Presented Unit and Best Haka. Seniors had a fantastic Mid-Winter Warmth for the Soul morning tea. Kids Church planned a special (surprise) “something” for Father’s Day. Church camp is coming up in November.
