With reference to the fact many churches are not growing, I believe one secret to help in church growth is from the book of Acts. It is to be filled with the Holy Spirit every day – a daily prayer to God, not in a Pentecostal experience, but simply a prayer asking God every day to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

That will produce an extra hunger for God, a compassion for the lost and effectiveness in our daily Christian walk. It says in Acts 4, “the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the Word with boldness.”
