The Community Housing service of VisionWest Community Trust provides emergency, transitional and long-term supported Housing in West Auckland. A new opportunity has arisen for a General Manager working in collaboration with the CEO to:
• Develop key partnerships and strategies for growth and development of community housing and property care ser-vices; in line with Government policy and new partnerships.
• Provide sound management for growth and future planning, ensuring highest standards of service delivery, sound financial management including; contract manage-ment, human resource and administrative management.

The successful applicant will have;

• A relevant tertiary qualification, and/or a high level of proven Social Services or ‘Not For Profit’ management experience.
• A sound knowledge of relevant legislation, sector standards, and the housing sector.
• A strong financial background with a focus on strategic thinking with a proven ability to grow a service.
