The gas heaters for Christchurch project is being backed by Contact Energy who are providing 1,200 gas bottles plus the first fill free and ongoing vouchers. It is also being backed by The Warehouse who is offering the heaters at 50% off the retail price! The Baptist Church earthquake relief efforts in Christchurch are taking place in association with Earthquake Response Coordinators across Denominations and the Non-Government Organisation Disaster Relief Forum (NDRF), a group of national and international NGO's working together on earthquake relief and recovery in Christchurch.
