With the increasing rate of child abuse and neglect, strategic early intervention is a priority. Early childhood education providers are potentially positioned to make a significant difference in the lives of thousands of children.

Recognising this, Baptist Community Ministries produced an “Early Intervention/Building Bridges” resource DVD, and recently sent copies to the Chairs of all Baptist kindergartens and early childhood centres. The DVD features a panel discussion with Nettie Holm, Viki Johnson and Royce Dewe, and touches on ways Baptist early childhood education providers can build on their existing relationships with children and families in their communities.
