‘The Selwyn Centre for Ageing and Spirituality has advised us of this upcoming  workshop, recommended for those who work with older people e.g. chaplains, health professionals, pastoral carers, staff/volunteers of aged care facilities.

The content of the workshops will include:

• an introduction to spirituality in ageing
• strategies for sharing story
• opportunities to practise skills of story listening and story telling
• guidelines for listening to the stories of people with dementia

The workshops will be held in March in Hamilton, Hawkes Bay, Christchurch and Auckland, and will be taken by Dr Elizabeth MacKinlay, Director of the Centre for Ageing and Pastoral Studies in Canberra.
