There is opportunity for a Carey Pastoral Leadership student to work in one of our smaller but very effective churches in a poorer area of Christchurch over the summer.  But they cannot afford the full costs.  Would you ask your church to consider assisting with this?  If we could get 10 churches to contribute $1000 each, it would be a great way of supporting both a student in training for pastoral ministry and a church that is a strong light in a needy community.  Please let Kelvyn know asap if you can help.
