Town is a 5 minute stroll away and offers lovely cafes, restaurants and shopping. Lake Karapiro is 5 minutes away; may consider including boat in swap to an able boaty. Rotorua and Tauranga are an hour away, Taupo is about 1 1/2 hours. Local activities include horse shows, antiques, river attractions, Hamilton Gardens (ranked in the world's top 10), and Cambridge's arts and crafts society.
