The sky was grey and dull as misty clouds of rain raced by under the sinking sun. Suddenly there was a a flash and colour as the sun broke through in all its majesty. God’s creation burst forth in radiance as a rainbow arced across the sky.

A vision for the Church is like a rainbow in the sky – complete with its colours blending into each other yet supporting their differences. There is not one colour but many colours. As you gaze at the rainbow you will see no lines between the colours; they softly come together displaying the gentle beauty of fullness.

The colours seen are the ministries of the Church. This is how our ministries should function – no separation, just fusion lead by the Holy Spirit.

We must see ourselves as a colour in the rainbow, putting our differences aside to blend in with each other to give God the glory, growing the Kingdom of God.
