Thanks Mark Pierson (NZ Baptist, May), our sentiments as well. But, you have fallen into the trap of using the term “worship music.” When will people realise that “worship” is not in itself a genre of music, any more than if hair dressers got together and called it “hair dresser music.” If we didn’t take this stance then perhaps the creativity might be allowed to flourish.
