A recent article in the NZ Herald has been brought to my attention regarding a wedding in which a non-registered person officiated, while the registered celebrant looked on. Both men were prosecuted so it is a reminder to not allow any Tom, Dick or Harry conduct wedding services with the registered celebrant just signing the forms!!
