We have been able to join our scheme with the Apostolic and Elim churches and thus gain a better deal than negotiated last year. We have a monthly access fee of $25 and 25 cents per minute (+ GST) with free calls within the whole group (nearly 700 connections) and to/from Vodafone landlines within the group.

The hardware credit for new connections is now also much more substantial (eg a 32GB I-Phone will cost you around $400 + GST). We are transitioning across over the next two weeks so your regular account dates may change and there will be a new prefix BAP before your account name but otherwise you should not notice any effect. There is one condition for all of this and that is everyone must now pay by direct debit as we do with the fuel card scheme. Most people will be paying directly to Vodafone in this manner but those whom we currently debit from National Resource Centre will continue that way.

If your church is not on Vodafone for landlines and you have group member mobiles then maybe you should consider transferring the landlines. If you are not in the plan, now may be a good time to consider joining. If you currently have another plan with Vodafone your unexpired term can be transferred into our plan at no penalty but no new hardware credit until that anniversary arrives.
