Pakuranga Baptist Church’s first alfresco church service and Children’s Day festival was held on March 7. The church celebrated the end of its Church Family and Discipleship (“Orange”) series with a community event marking Children’s Day. Run in conjunction with PBC Kindergarten, the event attracted a wide range of people from the community, including families who simply pulled off the main road to check out the experience.

There were complementary bookmarks and devotionals, a range of activities such as face painting, bouncy castles, games, clowns and free candy floss. The Lord organised a beautiful day, and the opportunity to worship outdoors was a new delight. The unanimous response was that we must do this again soon.
