PBC started the year with a summer series called God’s Five Great Invitations to You. It has also been a very social time. The men’s ministry commenced with a church car rally around Auckland and 10 pin bowling. The women’s ministry held an enjoyable afternoon tea and the church also had a Chinese New Year’s celebration. Pastor Marjory has run a well attended Challenging Lifestyles course. Over February we looked at the Orange Family ministry philosophy and held an outdoor worship service and family festival, which saw many new faces from our kindergarten and community in attendance. Four people have been baptised. Andrew Lai has been appointed Pastoral Visitor for the Mandarin congregation.
