Derek is available for a range of ministries, following his retirement from Carey Baptist College. Of particular interest to pastors and pastoral staff is his experience in mentoring and supervision, something he has done for many years and in which he believes he has something to offer back to the churches. He is also available to assist people working through issues of vocation, the way in which we discover our life purpose, keep track of it and adjust it to changing times. Linked to this is the area of training, which helps people find how to get to where they want to be, appropriately equipped for the future. He has special interest in missions and tentmaking and is involved with people engaged in mission or preparing for mission in a variety of support roles. He also continues to enjoy teaching and preaching in churches, especially related to mission, tentmaking and marketplace Christianity.
