Editorial lacked balance

In your editorial of the May issue of NZ Baptist you seem to have an anti-Russian bias. You seem to forget that the Russians were on the Allied side during World War II. I agree that the freedoms we have today came about from sacrifices on the battlefield, but without the Soviet Union and Red Army, Germany would have won. The Soviet losses were 26 million, while US and UK losses were 400,000 each.

I am sure that John was a brave man, but you have to give credit where it is due. Every day I think about and pray for Russia, and think about the sacrifices they gave to stop Nazism.

Please have a bit more balance in the editorial next time.
