Wellington/Top of the South – February 2012

Karori Baptist
Pastor Mike Enright
The men enjoyed a breakfast in October where the chaplain from Rimutaka Prison gave a reflection on Jesus’ presence with those on the margin in Wellington. They also had a retreat in November on a farm in the Wairarapa. We enjoyed contributing to the Birthright Christmas Present Appeal in November. We celebrated Karori Baptist’s mainly music 10 year anniversary at the end of November with a family service that incorporated Jo Wilson’s baptism. In December we had our Christmas Celebration service followed by a shared lunch. We also had a community high tea during the week, which people available during the day enjoyed.
