Fusion Youth (Year 9 plus) meets on Friday evenings, attracting about 100 kids. It includes worship, message, cafe time and games. On Sundays more than 80 kids are at the children’s programmes. Seniors meet bimonthly on Wednesdays for a celebration service and fellowship. Local rest home residents and folk from other churches are welcome. A team attended the Holy Spirit Retreat in Hanmer, and another team helped St Albans with local visitation and encouragement. Our Mission World team organised a sumptuous Christmas-style dinner to raise funds for Living Waters orphanage in Borneo, and gifts to be sent to the 400+ children for Christmas. Men are looking forward to Promise Keepers convention in August, and ladies plan an Empowering Her retreat at Bridge Valley, Nelson, in late September. In July, David Riddell (Nelson) presented a one-day seminar, “Accelerated personal growth – the Living Wisdom Way.”
